Developing and Writing your HSC English Major Work

Coming up with an idea, and developing it into a fully fledged story with structure, strong characters and believable dialogue can be a daunting task. In this six-part program, students can discuss how to develop their ideas and characters, learn how to plot their novel so it has structure, builds tension and has a satisfying conclusion. They can also discuss their writing style, dialogue, description and the all important first page. Students will receive work sheets and exercises with a question time to help develop their work. They can also send questions they would like addressed during the workshops.
